Reverend Ginger Shannon
Founder & CEO
Reverend Ginger Shannon is a dynamic leader and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Angels with Broken Wings, where she also serves as the President of the Board. With over six years of experience in the behavioral health field, Ginger is a highly credentialed professional, holding certifications as a Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW), Certified Supportive Housing Specialist (CSHPS), Comprehensive Community Support Specialist (CCSS), and a trained Crisis Counselor. Ginger's work is deeply rooted by her personal lived experiences, which enables her to deliver an authentic and impactful message of resilience to those she serves. Ordained in 2019 by End Time Harvest International Ministries and Glory Bound Ministries, Ginger brings a holistic approach to recovery that integrates both emotional and Spiritual supports, which is a crucial aspect of comprehensive care. Since 2020, Ginger continues to serve as an integral part of the Emergency Response Team, trained by SAMHSA and FEMA. During this time, she was deployed across New Mexico, providing critical outreach and support to individuals affected by natural disasters. Working alongside the New Mexico Health Care Authority as a Crisis Counselor, she played a vital role in helping individuals navigate difficult and traumatic events. Beyond her leadership at Angels with Broken Wings, Ginger has been an active member of the New Mexico Credentialing Board of Behavioral Health Professionals since 2020, where she serves as an ethics investigator and CPSW. She has been recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Office of Peer Recovery and Engagement (OPRE),  New Mexico Human Services Division and Behavioral Health Services Division in 2023, as well as the prestigious 2024 Behavioral Health Services Director’s Award. As a leader, mentor, and advocate, Ginger Shannon remains dedicated to uplifting others, breaking barriers, and creating lasting change in the lives of individuals and communities. Her passion for service, coupled with her vast expertise, continues to drive her mission to foster healing, growth, and empowerment.

Andrea Hughes-Jones
Founder & COO
Andrea Hughes-Jones serves as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Angels with Broken Wings, a highly accomplished leader with a distinguished background in business management and an unfathomable commitment to community service. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Western New Mexico University, as well as an associate’s degree in business administration from Southern University of Shreveport. Andrea is presently engaged in her pursuit of a Master's degree in Social Work. Throughout her career, Andrea has made significant contributions to the mental health and substance abuse sectors, earning recognition such as the Behavioral Health Services Director's Award in 2024 and a Certificate of Appreciation from OPRE Behavioral Health in 2022. She holds multiple certifications, including Certified Peer Support Worker, Comprehensive Community Support Specialist, Certified Supportive Housing Specialist and trained in Crisis Counseling, demonstrating her expertise in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and support services. In 2005, Andrea embarked on her initial commitment to the ministry, complementing the career successes she had already attained. In 2007, she and her husband received their consecration as pastors from the Pastoral Alliance of California. In 2023, she was ordained to the role of pastoral counselor, thereby enhancing her ability to coordinate her efforts as a spiritual healer and guide. With more than 20 years of experience in the recovery field. Andrea adeptly merges her expertise in mental health with her passion for serving others. In her ministerial endeavors, Andrea adopts a comprehensive methodology that intertwines empathy, guidance, and counsel, all aimed at enhancing life skills. Her approach is rooted in the belief that true transformation occurs when individuals are supported not only in their emotional an psychological needs but also in their spiritual growth. Her dual role as a leader in the behavioral health sector and a minister exemplifies her steadfast commitment to enhancing individual well-being and promoting constructive transformation within the community. Through her work, she continues to empower individuals to overcome challenges and embrace their potential, making a lasting impact on their lives and the broader community.
